Looked exactly like this:
Passed it going the opposite direction on Hwy 12 right in front of Sonoma Raceway on my way home from work today. Seems to have been produced in Mexico by a company called Avanti (I guess they bought the rights to the name/designs?) in Mexico that closed in 2007. Looks to be based off of a C5 or C6 Vette, though according to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , it could be based on a Ford platform if it was produced after 2004... Anyway it must be a rare item regardless.

The originals are really cool. A guy I went to high school with in the 90's got to drive his mom's to school on Fridays. It had a 4-speed and a supercharged 289, sounded great. His mom's was a red coupe and his dad had a black one.
